Danny is Partner at the Elah Fund. Danny was CFO/VP Finance of the IMC/Iscar Group, a Berkshire Hathaway portfolio company. Danny led IMC/Iscar in its most crucial decisions and all global M&A activities. Danny joined Iscar at $29 million in sales with three subsidiaries and helped grow sales to $4 billion with 177 subsidiaries. He was the architect of the 2-phase acquisition of IMC/Israel and worked for Berkshire Hathaway for a decade after the sale. Warren Buffett said that Danny is “incredible,” (WSJ, 4/2012) and “a brilliant strategist and operator.” Danny also led investments and served as a director of numerous companies on behalf of the Wertheimer family. He was Chairman of Stef Wertheimer’s Foundation for Education, Work and Entrepreneurship for Industry.

Danny is a dedicated teacher of business and negotiation to high school students and serves on the Board of Leo Baeck High School.

He holds a BA in Accounting and Economics from Haifa University and is a qualified CPA in Israel.
