Katrina ole-MoiYoi, PhD
Katrina is an expert in sustainability with specific expertise in global supply chains and analytics.
She is Head of the Regenerative Fund for Nature at Kering, the international luxury brand conglomerate. The Fund, which is a partnership with Conservation International, aims to transform carbon and biodiversity outcomes in 1 million hectares of Kering’s supply chain landscapes. Katrina’s global experience includes highly-operational leadership positions in the private sector in Kenya and Israel where she designed and implemented field-based sustainability programs for agricultural companies. Katrina has advised governments in Sub-Saharan Africa and South Asia on strategic environmental and food security policy. At Stanford’s Center for Food Security & the Environment, she focused on developing quantitative analytics tools to monitor sustainability. She started her career with USAID where she managed a post-tsunami environmental program in Sri Lanka. She is a frequent presenter at global events, and has published in scientific and industry journals, and media outlets ranging from Vogue to the Huffington Post. She holds a PhD from Stanford University in Environmental Studies.
