Shadi is a leader with a track record of success in technical and business R&D roles.  He is known for his ability to inspire and grow technical talent. 

Shadi is Senior Director of Business Engineering at Meta (Facebook).  Previously, he was the Vice President of Product Management for IBM Data & AI's Information Architecture product portfolio and responsible for the business and product strategy of the multi-billion dollar software business which includes DB2, DataStage, Watson Studio, Cloud Pak for Data, and other industry leading products. Previously, he led the Watson Tools and Runtimes product portfolio. He was the Head of Data Science in IBM Watson Customer Engagement, which included top Machine Learning, Optimization and Statistical learning experts that invented, built, and supported the models that became the heart of the business's cognitive engine.  Shadi began his career at IBM over 2 decades ago and has held various technical and business leadership roles at the company. He holds a BSC in Computer Science and an MBA from the Technion, Israel.
